Wooten Employees -
Governor Cooper has announced the beginning of Phase 2 which will take effect Friday afternoon about 5 pm. While this new phase does not necessarily affect our operations, it will likely affect your daily activities outside of the office especially as we move into a holiday weekend.
While we recognize that nearly all employees are back in the office now, we will continue to operate as an ‘essential business’ with work-at-home being an option for employees on a voluntary basis. As such, it is important that we keep best practices at the forefront of our minds and exercise them out of consideration for all employees.
Below are a few reminders:
1. Sanitize your hands frequently. Hand sanitizer is located in most common areas.
2. Clean up after yourself. Wipe down surfaces in common areas after use.
3. Sneeze or cough anywhere other than mid-air please (preferably in a tissue or your elbow.)
4. In Office Communication
a. Employees are encouraged to use telephone, Teams or Webex for communication.
b. When visiting in-office employees, please maintain a safe distances in both offices and cubicles.
c. In person meetings should be limited in duration to the extent practical.
5. Office Visitations
a. External entryways should be secured and/or monitored to allow necessary mail/package drop-offs/pick-ups.
b. Vendors may be allowed entry to the buildings for office deliveries or services.
c. Outside visitors including colleagues and friends are discouraged from making in office visitations to employees.
d. Quick drop-off/pick-up of items by immediate family is acceptable.
6. Client Visitations
a. Our clients have taken different positions on remote v. in-person meetings.
b. If the client allows remote meetings, refrain from going to the site and instead use telephone, Teams or Webex for communication.
c. If the client prefers/insists on in person meetings, please take necessary precautions and practice social distancing as you deem appropriate. Dress in whatever PPE you deem necessary. (If you are uncomfortable attending an in person meeting, the Company will not require you to attend. You should address any such issues with your supervisor so we can inform our client accordingly.)
7. Company Vehicles/Travel
a. Necessary travel between Wooten offices is allowable for employees.
b. Company vehicles remain available for use at your discretion.
c. The use of personal vehicles is still an option. All personal vehicle mileage/expenses should be tracked and reported on your expense reports during the same timesheet period.
Our goal is to remain flexible and accommodating to your needs while sustaining our daily operations. Thank you for your patience, perseverance and hard work. And please enjoy time with your family and friends over this Memorial Day holiday.
