Wooten Employees -
The statewide stay-at-home order has been extended until at least May 8th, but Governor Cooper has laid out a three-phase plan for reopening businesses and social activities if data shows the virus is waning. In the meantime, we continue to operate as an ‘essential business’ with work-at-home being an option for all employees on a voluntary basis. Assuming the May 8th date is not extended, we encourage you to begin your transition back to the office during the 2 weeks thereafter. We want to remain flexible and accommodating as we transition back to a more normal work environment, but we realize a ‘one size fits all’ solution is not feasible. Please bear in mind the following:
1. Employees at higher risk (given health/age susceptibilities) who are concerned with returning to the office environment should discuss work-at-home arrangements with your supervisors.
2. Employees with young or school age children who may be unable to report to the office because of continued daycare and school closures should discuss work-at-home arrangements with your supervisors.
3. When returning to the office, you may wish to bring whatever personal protection equipment (PPE) you deem appropriate.
4. When returning to the office, you may wish to further disinfect your personal workspaces to the extent you deem appropriate. The Raleigh office (and I assume regional offices) continues to be cleaned on a routine schedule.
5. While in the office, continue to practice social distancing and good hygiene.
Our goal is to remain flexible and accommodating while sustaining our daily operations.
Thank you for your patience, perseverance and hard work.
