Wooten Employees –
A bit of good of good news as we head into the holiday weekend. The number of new cases of COVID 19 in North Carolina is down considerably in recent days from its peak last week. In fact, yesterday represented the lowest number of new cases (26) since the initial climb on March 16th. The curve is appearing to flatten out.
Let’s hope that our social distancing, continued in-office best practices and at-home strategies will continue to play in our favor. Personally, I’m ready for the COVID 19 to join the lemmings for their annual cliff diving competition.
I appreciate everyone stepping up and asking their supervisors how they can achieve higher utilization. Team communication is especially important in these situations. We have made some internal adjustments and I’m hopeful that we continue to push forward by remaining positive and accomplishing our tasks for the benefit of our clients. There will be a long road to economic recovery, especially for our smaller, rural clients, and it is important that we provide them the necessary infrastructure to help boost their recovery efforts.
Finally, an Easter joke for your children before I sign off today (answer at bottom of email):
What kind of jewelry does the Easter Bunny wear?
Please have a safe and enjoyable Good Friday and Easter holidays with your families. And thank you for your patience, perseverance and hard work.
